Up to 75 items TOTAL may be checked out at one time on a library card. (Just remember that you are responsible for them all!) Your library card must be presented at each checkout. Item limits, loan periods, renewals, and fines are as follows:

If an item is checked out or owned by another library, you may place a hold either in person while visiting the library, online through our catalog, or over the phone (have your library card ready). You will be unable to check out items if you card is expired; if you have 5 or more items overdue; or if you owe $5.00 or more in fines. New items owned by a library other than your hometown will not be lent out.
With the exception of Transparent Language software, which must be returned inside the Clifton Library, all materials may be returned in our outdoor book boxes. (Fines will still accrue any day past the due date, including days the Library is closed.) Materials from PALS Plus libraries may be returned at any PALS Plus library location.
